2) there was no serial number anywhere on the unit. 1) the lower bolt hole through the fan housing was broken because it didn't line up straight with the fins. It works great! I have only 2 issues with it. I had been jumping my batteries with my truck to keep them charged and was very happy when this part came.

Connected unit to battery positive, negative and ground wires. Received the box in very good condition, installed the converter works great!
